Whether you're a backpacker, a family, a group of friends, or honeymooners, ready to explore the magic of Kangaroo Island, we have the ideal option for you!
Guests in the guesthouse share the fully equipped kitchen and spacious bathrooms in this cosy and comfortable home away from home. Dining together provides a wonderful opportunity to share stories of your travels, give hints & tips about what to see and where to go, and to make new friends from all over the world. For those visiting without a car, you might just be lucky enough to organise a ride with another guest.
In warmer weather, there is ample space in our outdoor area for preparing a meal and sitting in the sunshine. (In time, we will develop a herb & vegie patch in the garden, that guests will be welcome to forage through. Future renovations will include an outdoor kitchen.)
For couples or loan travellers who yearn privacy and your own space, Rori's Retreat is for you (strictly a maximum of two guests).
Please note, with the exception of the share room, all rooms have a two night minimum stay.

Room descriptions
Share Room
Ideal for solo travellers, or anyone travelling in a small group (maximum of four).
Beautifully appointed room with two double bunks. Still a work in progress, additional storage is on its way.
Individual beds $30 per night. If desired, you can turn this space into a private room by booking all four beds (subject to availability).

Family Room
The spacious family room can accommodate 2-6 guests in the same group, and has one queen size bed and two double bunks. A beautifully appointed room with a chill out space, and mirror/dresser.
Standard room rate ($95) is for two people. Add $15 per night per child (3-16 years), and $30 per night for each additional adult. There's room for a portacot - please advise if you need one of these!

Rori's Retreat
Compact, cosy and comfortable, this fully self-contained cabin is set in the rear garden of the KI Dragonfly Guesthouse.
'Rori's Retreat' has an ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, queen size bed, desk, hanging space for clothing, and television/DVD player (pop into the guesthouse to select from the wide range of DVDs available).
You have the choice of remaining tucked away in your own private space, or socialising with the people staying in the guesthouse.
Available upon request: We would be pleased to arrange a welcome package, consisting of Kangaroo Island produce to your liking, such as wine, cheese, crusty bread, lavender oil, honey and more. If we're unable to source KI produce, be assured that we will find the best that South Australian has to offer! Email us to arrange a package to suit your taste & budget.
